Do you need inpatient or outpatient surgery? Do you have questions about rehabilitation or balneotherapy? Our case advisors give you moral and practical support from your arrival at the hospital to your return home.
Individual Case Management
Rehabilitation takes place following treatment of an illness. The objective is to regain physical and mental capabilities and is applied when a significant and last improvement in the state of health can be expected.
Rehabilitation can be performed as an outpatient or inpatient service.
You receive the costs for rehabilitation if the clinic holds the corresponding cantonal service mandate, your doctor confirms your need for hospital treatment and the reimbursement of costs can be checked in advance. To do so, the doctor sends us a request to which we usually respond within five days.
Need for hospital treatment
If you require medical, nursing or therapeutic measures, we refer to this as the need for hospital treatment. Hospital treatment is also required when all outpatient measures have been exhausted and an inpatient stay promises treatment success.
