What happens when you apply to work for us? Our multi-stage process enables us to get to know each other and find out whether we are a good match.

Our application process varies depending on the job profile. If you have any questions, please contact the relevant HR consultants listed in the job advertisement.
- Online application, no cover letter
You’ll be e-mailed a confirmation of receipt as soon as we’ve received your application. - Initial selection
Within a maximum of ten days, you’ll either receive a rejection via e-mail or an invitation to attend an asynchronous video interview. - Asynchronous video interview
You’ll have the chance to get to know us better and answer a few questions about yourself (with video and sound, at a time to suit you). - Online interview via MS Teams

- Online application without a letter of motivation
You will receive a confirmation of receipt by e-mail as soon as we have received your application.
- First selection
After ten working days at the latest, you will either receive a rejection by e-mail or an invitation to a delayed video interview.
- Time-delayed video interview
You will have the opportunity to get to know us better and answer a few questions about yourself and your career choice (with video and audio - at your preferred time).
- Participation in the application day
If you were able to convince us, we will invite you together with other apprenticeship applicants. You will get to know the people responsible for vocational training on site and complete a number of tasks.
- Personal interview (live)
If there is still a mutual fit, we get to know each other even better in a personal interview (1:1). The aim is to discuss the requirements and expectations of both parties in detail and clarify any unanswered questions.
- Optional: Obtaining references
If you have any questions about your level of knowledge and/or your potential, we will be happy to clarify these with your teacher.
- We say yes!
If you have convinced us, we will make you a binding, concrete apprenticeship offer by telephone.
- You say yes!
Once you have accepted, we will draw up the apprenticeship contract and invite you and your parents to our site to sign it.
- Start of apprenticeship
In mid-June, you will receive an invitation to start your apprenticeship (1st day on the job) and the three-day basic course for apprentices in Bellinzona. - Onboarding
In the first few weeks, you will be made ‘fit for the apprenticeship and Helsana’ with training sessions in the workplace, face-to-face courses, webinars and e-learning.
Sometimes getting to know each other starts the other way around: for some positions, we reach out to you! That’s what happened with Anton, for example. He’s been working with us as a Cyber Security Analyst since 1 January 2022.

Our trainee positions are not advertised on a fixed schedule. As soon as an appropriate opportunity arises internally, we publish the position directly on our career site.

As long as you can find the position on our career site, it is still open and we welcome applications. Once it is no longer listed on the website, we unfortunately cannot consider any further applications.
It is important to us that you feel comfortable and can be authentic during the interview. A smart casual outfit is always a good choice.
In the first interview, we would like to get to know you and give you a good overview of the role. Feel free to think about any questions you may have in advance.
For a second interview, you will receive all the relevant information for preparation directly from the hiring manager or your recruiting HR consultant.
