Does your eye burn, your ear hurt or your skin itch? Our partner pharmacies will be at your service throughout Switzerland from 2026 – even without an appointment. You will receive rapid treatment for simple, acute complaints – in a separate consultation room if necessary. We will cover the costs for you.
Many complaints can be treated effectively in a pharmacy. This saves you time and money. It also reduces supply shortages.
If the Helsana partner pharmacy is not able to conclusively resolve your health problem, proceed as usual in accordance with your basic insurance model.
Do you have the basic insurance model BeneFit PLUS Telemedicine, BeneFit PLUS Flexmed or PREMED-24? Then we will cover the costs of the in-depth consultation. You do not pay any deductible or excess. This does not include additional costs such as medication or other benefits.
Other insurance models may require a co-payment. In most cases, this is lower than for other points of contact such as GPs.
If your medical concern is treated at the pharmacy, you save the cost of a visit to the doctor.
Use the Pharmacists’ Association’s search feature to find Helsana partner pharmacies (Amavita, medbase, Coop Vitality and Sun Store) near you:

Children and babies often need different treatments to adults. Although going to the pharmacy may be enough for some complaints, the partner pharmacy does not replace the paediatrician’s practice. However, you can always seek advice from a partner pharmacy to get an initial assessment.
For customers with the alternative basic insurance models BeneFit PLUS Telemedicine, BeneFit PLUS Flexmed and PREMED-24, in-depth consultations are free of charge. Customers with other models may have to pay a co-payment. The partner pharmacy will inform you about the costs. If further medications or aids (e.g. dressings) are required for the treatment, these will be subject to charge as usual.
An in-depth consultation is provided at the pharmacy based on a guideline. All guidelines have been developed in collaboration between doctors and pharmacists according to scientific criteria. After the in-depth consultation, the right medication can be dispensed. Minor injuries are treated professionally. Afterwards, your health history will be discussed and any questions you may have will be answered.
No. Partner pharmacies are not permitted to refer you to a specialist directly. If necessary, you must contact your coordinating point of contact according to your insurance model for further treatment.
The in-depth consultation in a separate room will only be carried out if the pharmacist considers it necessary. This is the result of a joint discussion.
Yes. All customers can seek advice on complaints and health-related issues from a partner pharmacy. Costs may be incurred for the consultation. If you have the basic insurance model BeneFit PLUS Flexmed, BeneFit PLUS Telmed or PREMED-24, these costs will be covered by Helsana.
The first thing you do at the partner pharmacy is show your health insurance card. The pharmacy staff will use this to identify your basic insurance model.
