Date 26 September to 5 October 2014
Location Züspa, Hall 1, Stand E05 Messe Zürich, Zurich-Oerlikon
Organiser Förderverein für Kinder mit seltenen Krankheiten (Association for the support of children with rare illnesses)
The Association for the support of children with rare illnesses will have an event stand measuring 200 m2 at the Züspa, with games and fun in store for all the family! There'll be a performance of "Froschkönig Fredi verzaubert Lina’s Welt" (Freddie the Frog King brings magic into Lina's world), a heartwarming story of friendship combining theatre, dance and music. In the Technolino lab, children will be able to experience science and technology through play and get to know Nao, the clever robot. He's part of the Avatar Kids project, which was launched to connect young long-term patients with their familiar environment even when they're far away from it. The programme offers a wide range of entertainment including musical acts, competitions and lots of other surprises.
The Association for the support of children with rare illnesses wants its stand at the fair to offer a diversion from the everyday reality, which can be incredibly challenging for a lot of families. Some 350,000 children in Switzerland suffer from rare illnesses. The challenges they face can be managed more easily together with others, so they need support. You can show your willingness to help us give it by visiting our stand at the Züspa.
