At over 120 locations, you will find the perfect environment for outdoor exercise and sport. The more than 360 Helsana Trails are signposted loop trails perfectly suited for jogging, walking, hiking or simply taking a stroll.

Information about the Helsana Trails

Circuit of up to 25 kilometres

Every one of the more than 120 trail locations offers two or more guided loop trails. There are more than 360 trails you can use throughout Switzerland. The distances vary between one and 25 kilometres, so they are suitable for every fitness level. Most of the trails can even be combined.

Highlights on and near the trail

Most Helsana trails can be combined with other activities. Near or on the trails you will also find fire pits, swimming lakes or even toboggan runs. You can find more information on the map or on the Helsana Trails app.

Exercise for free any time day or night

Helsana trails are available free of charge and are open all year long. They are regularly checked and maintained by local trail administrators. This means you can take some exercise whenever you like – at any time and in any season.

Open new trail

Since the first Helsana trail was opened in 2003, we have been working with our partner Swiss Athletics to expand the network of trails. Is there still no Helsana trail in your region? Simply complete the application form. We will provide you with advice during the planning and opening of the new trail. We will also give you the necessary signage free of charge. As a trail administrator, you will be responsible for the trail and taking care of permits and signage along the trails. You will also receive annual compensation for maintaining the trails once they are open.
