Health Connect replaces Google Fit

Google is replacing Google Fit with the Health Connect tracker integration. From 1 July 2026, you can earn Plus points in Helsana+ with Health Connect. Google Fit will no longer be available as a tracker connection.

Why is Google Fit being removed from the Helsana+ app?

Google has announced that Google Fit will soon be discontinued. The exact date is not yet known. To ensure that you can continue earning points without interruption, we are replacing Google Fit with Health Connect on 1 July 2026.

What happens to my tracker connection on 1 July 2026?

On 1 July 2026, all connected Google Fit trackers will be disconnected. From that date onwards, Google Fit can no longer be connected to Helsana+ as a tracker.

How can I continue earning points?

To continue earning points seamlessly, you can now connect Health Connect to the Helsana+ app.
