Insured benefits

The following benefits are covered by guest insurance:

Costs for visits to the doctor, hospital stays, medication and transportation will be reimbursed in the amount of the chosen insured sum.

Hospital, doctor and medication costs

In the event of illness or accident, your visitor will be reimbursed up to the amount of the chosen insured sum for medicines, visits to the doctor and hospital stays in a general ward as well as medically accompanied emergency transport to your place of residence abroad or, in the event of death, repatriation to your last place of residence. The costs of medically necessary emergency transport to the nearest suitable hospital are included as per the insured sum.

Transportation and recovery costs

Necessary search and rescue operation costs are limited to CHF 10,000.

If your guests from abroad have an accident or become ill, it can create an unwelcome financial burden. With guest insurance you protect your visitors comprehensively against illness and accident, so they can enjoy a carefree stay in Switzerland.

No, a medical examination is not necessary, provided you take out the insurance for your visitor no later than five days after arrival. A health declaration is required if the insurance is taken out at a later date. Please also note that guest insurance does not cover any previously planned treatments.

Yes, you can choose from insured sums of between CHF 25,000 and CHF 250,000 per person. Various options for the period of insurance are also available.
