As you are insured with the Helsana Group, you can obtain your medication either from public pharmacies or through mail-order pharmacies.
Obtaining medication from public pharmacies
If you would like to obtain medically prescribed medication from a pharmacy, you should provide the pharmacist with the prescription and your insurance card. In this way, you can obtain the medication without cash.
The pharmacy will then directly bill us for the costs electronically. All we then need to do is invoice your co-payment (annual deductible and excess) or any costs for medicines not covered by statutory health insurance.
In Switzerland, you can obtain medically prescribed medication discreetly and inexpensively from mail-order pharmacies. The Helsana Group has a partnership with the following three established mail-order pharmacies: MediService, Xtrapharm and Zur Rose.
The benefits for you at a glance:
- Your prescription medication is delivered to your home address discreetly and at low cost.
- Exclusive and attractive rates for persons insured with the Helsana Group
- No extra charges for prescription or medication checks
- Expert over-the-phone advice
