“We are delighted to be working with Patrick Frank going forward. I would like to wish him a very warm welcome to Helsana on behalf of both the Executive Board and our Board of Directors,” declares Roman Sonderegger, CEO of the Helsana Group. “We are gaining someone with a proven track record in IT and many years’ management experience, with a personality that makes him a great fit for our Executive Board.”

In Mr Frank’s own words: “The insurance industry is operating in a regulatory environment in which change and maintenance processes are becoming increasingly complex. One of my ambitions is to find a good, practical balance between freedom to innovate, system stability and security for Helsana and its customers in this demanding environment. I am greatly looking forward to tackling this challenge.”

Patrick Frank has been a member of the Corporate Executive Committee and Head of ICT, Data and Operational Excellence at the CSS Group since 1 May 2017, where his achievements have included developing the group’s IT strategy and leading the technical consolidation of four companies. Mr Frank was Managing Director of Sanagate AG prior to its full integration into CSS.

Assuming that the supervisory authority does not raise any objections, Mr Frank will be taking charge of Helsana’s Information Technology business division from 1 September 2023 at the latest.
