Helsana HealthInvest AG invests in digital health solutions from Humanoo

Humanoo, a Berlin-based B2B Digital wellness solution, secured $10M Series B Funding, led by SwissHealth Ventures - a CSS Group company. The round was joined by Helsana HealthInvest AG, Sanitas, Verve VC, and existing investors.


Humanoo is on a mission to empower both people and organizations to lead healthier lives. The company offers an automated digital wellness solution for corporates and insurances worldwide. With offices in Berlin & Paris, the software provider enables users to improve their physical and mental health by offering customized, on-demand programs covering a wide range of physical activities (in fitness, physio, yoga), mindfulness, sleep, and nutrition.

The company works with both large household corporate brands (UPS, Coca-Cola, Zalando, Axel Springer) and health insurances, helping them anticipate, recognize, and act to improve the overall health of their people, through more than 3’000 coaching sessions in five languages. Detailed reporting and data-generated insights are then delivered to further support organizations on their health journeys.

Though Humanoo is only scratching the surface of a rapidly growing market, the company has already locked Switzerland by closing its two largest health insurance companies (CSS & Helsana). Both respectively joined the Series B round, showcasing their trust and commitment towards the solution. Humanoo will use the funds to scale its team of 70+ across Engineering, Product & Business Development, strengthen its leadership in core markets and rapidly expand to further geographies.
