Can Arikan will be responsible for Media Relations at the Helsana Group with effect from 15 July 2019. In this role, he will represent the Group in its dealings with the media and the general public, and he will sometimes be responsible for the annual report and health policy-related publications.

With effect from 15 July 2019, Can Arikan (42) will take on the position of Head of the Media Relations department at the Helsana Group. In his capacity as Head of Media Relations, he will be the contact person for media representatives and represent the company in its dealings with the media and the general public. Over and above this, he will bear editorial responsibility for the annual report and the health policy-related publications “Standpunkt” and the Healthcare and Drug Report.
Can Arikan most recently headed up Media Relations at the audit and advisory firm KPMG. Thanks to KPMG’s commitment in the areas of insurance and the healthcare system, Arikan is familiar with the issues facing the Helsana Group and he has good relationships with media representatives. Before working at KPMG, the Schaffhausen native worked as the Head of Communications for the Office for Economy and Labour of the Canton of Zurich.
Can Arikan has a master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Zurich and a Master in Communications Management & Leadership from the ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Winterthur.
