Agreement with the eastern Switzerland hospital regions

Helsana Supplementary Insurances Ltd will delete the hospitals from its negative lists (list of hospitals without cost coverage and list of hospitals without full cost coverage in semi-private and private wards) and retroactively from 1 January 2018 (date of the hospital discharge), will assume the total costs for treatments in the semi-private or private ward pursuant to insurance coverage. In future, costs associated with semi-private and private wards in the context of insurance coverage will still be completely covered. These regulations also apply to insured persons who have taken out supplementary insurance with Helsana Supplementary Insurances Ltd via Helsana Insurance Company Ltd, Progrès Insurance Company Ltd, Helsana Accidents Ltd, KLuG health insurance, Krankenkasse Stoffel or Agrisano Versicherungen AG.
