Francine Waber, an enthusiastic karate fighter, made the most of a sport's injury and set herself the aim of helping other people with injuries by providing them with rehabilitation sessions on a trampoline. She looked round for people with possible knee injuries, addressed passers-by and invited them to her home for their very own trampoline training session. The initially sceptical participants were really impressed by their training sessions.
Cyclist Romaine Wenger collected money on ibelieveinyou.ch to enable her to meet her goal of the season of taking part in the Perskindol Swiss Epic race. In return she headed up a training session for kids as part of kids' bike days and encouraged the little cycling professionals to have fun doing sports.
Around 30 young talented individuals paying a visit to a care home? The Upper Valais ski team made it possible and lit up some faces in their regional care home. A major contribution that merits our full support.
Jasmin, Nadine, Robin and Remo set themselves the aim of ensuring that after a ten-year absence, a Swiss team would make it back to the World University Squash Championship. And they succeeded! In return for the support they received from Helsana, they invited young people in a centre for unaccompanied asylum-seeking minors in Kriens to play some squash matches. A laudable commitment that brought the kids a lot of enjoyment.
