Helsana aims to foster widespread awareness of healthcare issues. With precisely this goal in mind, in 2016 it launched the Helsana Health Forum, which this year focussed on the topic of balance.
430 people took part in the event held on Saturday, 1 July in the Kursaal Bern. It was hosted by radio and television presenter Nik Hartmann – who was as charming as ever.
The audience were advised by Sabine Asgodom to take life at a slower pace, learned from Prof Dr med Katja Cattapan about the interplay between body and mind for a balanced and healthy life, and asked themselves together with Prof Dr med Edith Holsboer-Trachsler whether balance was a tightrope act. Insightful discussions and exciting encounters with Stéphanie Berger, Ariella Kaeslin and Stephan Siegrist along with various inspiring stands in the exhibition rounded off a diversified day.
Thanks to the participation fee of CHF 20, Helsana was able to make a generous donation to the Swiss foundation Pro Mente Sana. Helsana rounded up the amount to CHF 10,000.
All presentations and speeches are in German. Please click on the German website, where you can find more details about the event as well as the individual videos of the speeches and discussions.
