CASAAgreed daily benefits
We do not require proof of costs for daily allowances of up to CHF 50.
In the event of accident or illness, you receive a daily allowance in the amount you have selected for up to 365 days over the course of 5 years, as soon as the agreed waiting period has expired. In the event of maternity (pregnancy and birth), you receive a daily allowance in the amount you have selected for 20 days.
- You have a degree of incapacity to work of at least 50% (you are considered unable to work if you can no longer manage your household following an accident or illness).
- Your medical provider has issued a certificate confirming your incapacity.
Household daily allowance
If you're unemployed and run a household, then you – unlike those who are employed – are not insured against the financial consequences of accidents or illnesses. If you have a serious illness or accident, you pay the costs of household help or childcare out of your own pocket.
Our household daily allowance CASA plugs this gap. You receive a daily allowance with which you can, for example, pay for childcare or taxi journeys to the doctor's. You choose the amount of the daily allowance and the waiting period and easily tailor CASA to your needs and budget.
