The "Overview of benefits" provides information about the conditions under which we assume the costs. Whether or not the medical maeasures, aids, therapists and establishments are recognised plays a decisive role in this.
Who defines the benefits?
For the basic insurance policy, health insurers may only assume the costs for treatments, methods and medication that are included in the Health Insurance Act (Krankenversicherungsgesetz - KVG).
We therefore pay many other benefits through a supplementary insurance policy. They include, for example, alternative therapies, dental treatment, and hospital stays on a private or semi-private ward.
What do I need to do?
- How are you insured? Check the insurance cover on your policy.
- What sort of benefit is it? Benefits are arranged by category. Search for the main subject if your keyword is not listed directly.
